Good Things Take Time. Learn to Love the Process, Not Rush

I'll be honest, I want to release everything all at once. The new pieces, the ideas that have been sitting in notes on my phone for months, the collections I've been dreaming up over coffee at 11pm when I should be sleeping. I want you to have it all now.

But I'm learning that the tiny details are sometimes the most important ones. And rushing them doesn't actually get us there faster — it just gets us there messier.

So here's what I've been reminding myself lately: good things take time. Not as a consolation prize for when things move slowly. As the actual point.

The overthinking, the redoing, the 'wait, let me fix this one small thing.' None of that is a delay. It's the work. It's the difference between something rushed to hit a deadline, and something given the time and patience it actually needed.

I think we're taught that speed equals value. That if it didn't happen fast, it doesn't count as progress. But some of the best things in my own life — the parts of this brand I'm proudest of, the pieces that actually feel like us — took way longer than I wanted them to. And they're better for it.

If you're in a season of waiting right now — on a project, a goal, a version of yourself you're still becoming — I hope this is a gentle reminder: you're not behind. You're perfectly on time. And once it's ready, you won't have to overthink sharing it. You'll just know.

Take your time. We'll be here when you're ready.
